Hi, I’m Kris the founder and creative heart behind I Do Guru — your go-to ceremony designer, storyteller, and ultimate “I do” hype person.
With years of experience in the events and entertainment industry, I’ve mastered the art of bringing people together and creating unforgettable moments. From intimate elopements to big, bold weddings, I know how to read a room, set the vibe, and make sure every moment feels truly you.
I’m a natural connector, a lover of love stories, and a pro at turning nerves into excitement. My background in performance and public speaking means your ceremony will be smooth, engaging, and totally unforgettable — no awkward pauses or cringe-worthy lines here.

What’s included when you work with me
First things first: we’ll have a relaxed (and totally obligation-free!) catch-up to get to know each other. You can ask all your burning questions, learn about how I work, and see if we’re a perfect match — after all, you want someone who feels just right to stand by you in such a big moment!
We’ll then have at least one in-depth pre-wedding meeting (plus as many calls, emails, or messages as you need in between!). You will get a get a fun questionnaire from me that will help me dig into your story and personalities, so I can craft a ceremony that feels truly “you.”
You’ll receive my Ceremony Guidebook — a jam-packed resource full of inspiration, legal info, vow-writing tips, ideas for personal touches, and plenty of insider tricks to help you prepare (past couples have loved this!).
If you're writing your own vows, I’ll provide beautiful keepsake vow cards personalised, so you can read them in style on the day.
Need help with your vows? I’m your unofficial vow coach and editor — I’ll help you find the perfect words, make sure they complement each other, and ensure the vibe is right for the big moment.
Want to add special rituals or personal touches? Absolutely — as many edits and changes as you like, right up to the big day.
You’ll have unlimited access to me for all your ceremony questions, ideas, and last-minute jitters.
I’ll give you a friendly nudge when it’s time to apply for your Marriage Licence (plus guidance on how), and I’ll handle all the legal paperwork after the ceremony.
If you'd like a rehearsal, I’m there to make sure everyone feels confident, calm, and ready to shine.
On the day, I’ll blend right into your aesthetic.
Your ceremony will be 100% custom-written from scratch — no copy-paste scripts here!
I also provide a professional PA system and microphone if needed, plus the option to play ceremony music if you’re using a playlist.
Most importantly, you’ll have a celebrant who is fully invested in making your ceremony feel authentic, fun, heartfelt, and unmistakably you.
What does it cost?
Your investment to have me as your Celebrant for the 2025/2026 season is from $650*
This covers all the love, energy, time, and expertise I put into getting to know you both, crafting a one-of-a-kind ceremony, handling the legal side, providing all the helpful resources and support, plus ensuring everything runs smoothly on the day.
